• Today’s competitive online business owners are turning more and more to freelance writers for their web content needs. Hiring a competent ghostwriter provide you with quality content for your website saves you valuable time and effort, which you can then direct to other aspects of your online business. But, all freelance writers are not created equal! If you are trying to get your website ranked higher in the search engines, then you have to hire a writer that also knows about SEO (search engine optimization). With your knowledge, and their skills, you can often more effectively use good SEO techniques to get the best results from the search engines. Having certain content on your site does make a difference to the search engines. Here are a few tips to consider when hiring an article writer for SEO:

    1. Hire a writer that knows about SEO: Many competent freelance writers are familiar with good search engine optimization techniques. When you are hiring a ghostwriter for article writing, be sure to find out their experience with SEO. An article writer that understands keyword density, phrases, placement, headlines, and other components of articles that are relevant for search engine optimization will be far more valuable than a ghostwriter than merely pounds out words for you. Always opt for quality over quantity!

    2. Use keywords appropriately: Good article writers know how to use keywords effectively. This means that the keywords are relevant to the niche, and also that there is appropriate keyword density, usually between 3-5%. Having the same keywords repeated over and over again may cause an article to be picked up by the search engines more readily, but you can be sure that this tactic will quickly turn off your readers and lessen the professional quality of your site because the articles will appear to be spam, regardless of any real or useful information that may be contained in them. The real value comes when you have the right balance of keywords and phrases for both the search engines and the readers.

    3. Remember to consider using keyword alternatives: Keep in mind that many search engine users may not be the best spellers or the best typists. Carefully check to see exactly how visitors are getting to your site by reviewing your site statistics. There may be additional keywords that are appropriate that did not appear in your initial keyword research list that could be valuable in driving more traffic to your site. Sometimes common misspellings can make for valuable keywords—just remember to be cautious even when you are intentionally using misspellings, as having “typos” and other errors can detract from the overall quality of your articles and content. Switching the word order of some keyword phrases may also be appropriate. Good SEO ghostwriters know how to do this well.

Article writing for effective search engine optimization is not rocket science. Utilizing good SEO techniques—not only behind the scenes in your website programming, but also in your article writing—can help you get higher rankings in the search engines faster. Just remember to hire a web content writer with SEO knowledge.

Putting together a website for your company? Then hopefully you already know the importance of having good web content on your webpage. No webpage will continue to get consistent traffic, no matter how great the product or service is, if the page looks unprofessional or lacks good web content.

When you put together the pages of your site, try using ideas—or IDEAs—that will boost the quality of your page and boost your traffic in the process. IDEA is a simple formula that will help you get the content you need to have a very professional site.

I is for Interesting: When visitors first enter your site, there needs to be something there that ‘grabs’ their attention and keeps them there for enough time to look around—and find what they are looking for. It’s imperative that there be a reason for them to remain there, and for them to continue to come back to your site. Having interesting content is important. A site with boring content is a site with no visitors. Using an engaging, conversational writing style, one that is not too wordy or too dry, will help keep readers on your pages longer.

D is for Dynamic: Change things up a bit now and then. Continue to add new and relevant content and links that are appealing to your visitors. When they return to your site to find something new, this is very reinforcing and will encourage them to return regularly to see what’s next. Daily updates are not usually necessary, but regularly adding new content will not only draw visitors but also result in higher search engine rankings.

E is for Easy: This means that the content should be easy to read, the pages should be easy to navigate, and everything should flow very smoothly. When pages are arranged in a visually pleasing and organized way, they look more professional. Keep graphics clean and sharp. Forget about those flashing graphics that take too long to load. Use regular fonts and use text colors and background colors that don’t make the eyes bleed (translation: text should be plain black, and backgrounds not too busy). Only underline hyperlinks, to avoid any confusion.

A is for Accurate: Any content that you put on your site should be accurate. Skip the junk, nobody wants to wade through it. Make sure that if your topic is ever-changing that you stay up to date. Any links that you have on your site should be regularly checked to make sure they still link to the right places. Keep in mind that accuracy refers not only to the information itself, but also to the mechanics—under no circumstances should there be typographical errors or misspellings on your pages, this is a huge turn off for many readers and instantly makes your site less professional. If you can’t take care of these details yourself, hire a writer to edit your pages.

Using the right IDEA when putting together your website content can make your site more professional. Having interesting, dynamic, easy, and accurate content will help keep visitors on your site longer and keep them coming back for more!

Are you having difficulty getting enough content for your website? When you are looking to hire a writer to put together good web content for your site, your first instinct is probably to try and find someone who is familiar with your specific topic. This is not only somewhat unlikely (especially when you have a site based on a niche topic that is particularly unique), but it is also simply unnecessary in most cases. Most good ghostwriters that you will find are able to take a few keywords, titles, and suggestions and turn them into content—articles, blog posts, reviews, product descriptions, etc.—that can enhance your site by drawing and keeping visitors.

Most people that are looking for good web content writers have niche sites, ones that perhaps have unique or specific topics that only the owner and a small group of others in the same niche can be intimately familiar with. Unique and specific niches are topics such as body detoxification, medical power supplies, bunk beds, meditation, vacuum cleaners, dental tourism, forex trading, hip hop music…and the list goes on and on. For topics such as these, it can be difficult to find a writer that is qualified as an expert.

However, take comfort in knowing that a good writer can develop web content for your site, regardless of topic, based on your expert guidance as a website owner and niche specialist. Hire a writer that is experienced in writing on a wide variety of topics, and provide your net content writer with a solid list of keywords and research leads. This ensures that you will get web content that is relevant, timely, and informative—exactly the kind of web content that will get you the traffic you need to make the money you are dreaming of.

All writing is not created equal. Not only are keywords important for helping your writer come up with good web content, but it’s important to keep in mind that online writing is different from other styles of writing (think manuals, novels, magazines, etc.) because of the nature of the medium. The writing style required for good web content needs to be concise and it needs to keep the attention of a reader who is looking for quick information. Also, very importantly, web content needs to be written in a way that is not only interesting for the human reader but is search engine friendly so that visitors will find it easily.

No person can be an expert in every topic, but a good can take a topic and some keywords and roll out some great content for you. Ghostwriting means taking someone else’s ideas and putting them into words, and having the person use those words as if they were their own. When you hire a writer, be prepared to be specific about your ideas, what you need, and what you are hoping to achieve with your web content. Remember that you are the expert in your topic, and your ghostwriter is the expert in writing. Working together, you can get exactly what you need for your site.

Having good content on your site is more than having the right words. You need to be communicating with your online audience clearly, and really get through to them. Otherwise, you will not get any customers or generate any revenue.

Over a decade ago, Bill Gates proclaimed, “Content is King,” when referring to the then-growing internet business world, ultimately coining a phrase that has caught on and become a mantra of sorts for internet marketers globally. And, what entrepreneur wouldn’t listen to one of the most successful men in the world? Gates predicted that any online success would come from sites with good content, not just good products or services. And, of course, he was pretty accurate in his prediction.

Visitors to your site will actually read what is written there, so it really needs to be informative, relevant, timely, and interesting. Your content needs to keep your readers’ attention. If you can’t hold their attention for a few paragraphs, it’s highly unlikely they will return for more. No return, no customer. Seems simple, right?

What if you know your product and service inside and out? What if you are a great salesperson? What if your product is the best one available? But, what if you can’t really write well? You could be the best businessperson in the world, but an unprofessional site can be the kiss of death for your internet business. It is possible to have some high quality web content on your site, that can come across in your “voice” and be directed at your specific target audience, though.

Hiring a ghostwriter to put together your web content can be a perfect solution. Give the writer your ideas, and let them do what they are good at – writing. Get your articles, your copywriting, your blog posts, whatever you need. Today’s online world makes this very easy to accomplish. And, once you pay that writer, you own the material as if you had actually written it yourself.

Quality counts when it comes to web content. And, so does quantity. Basically, you need a lot of good content to keep your site competitive. Writing services can help you get quality AND quantity of content for your site. Just writing a lot of words is not enough, though. Visitors also like to see video links, links to other interesting and relevant sites, and generally speaking, sites that really look slick and professional. This is where people are going to spend their money. You could have the best product in the world, but people will be turned away by unprofessional content.

Entrepreneurs, listen! Bill Gates knew what he was talking about all those years ago, and what he said still stands. Spend your time researching your niche. Spend your time working on the search engine optimization to get the traffic to your site. Find out the most competitive keywords to target. Then, hire someone as a ghostwriter to put together the web content so you can concentrate on really pushing your site to rank with the big guns. You’ll be very glad you did, when you see how professional your site will look.

The importance of good web content cannot be stressed enough. Running a website these days takes a tremendous amount of time and effort. You need to get enough information on your website to keep your visitors’ interest and gain their business. Once you have customers, you want them to return. Some people are looking for information, some are looking for products and services. You need to cater to both crowds, and you need to do it well.

To have a successful website, you need to have a lot of internet marketing tools in your toolbox. One of the most important tools that you need is strong, successful content. This means that your web content needs to be communicating the right message at the right time. Your message needs to be relevant to your target audience and, hopefully, even memorable enough to have them refer their friends to your website.

How can you get strong, successful web content for your site? Well, there are really only a few choices. One, you can link to other interesting, relevant, and informative sites; two, you can write the content yourself; or, three, you can hire a writer to either contribute to your site or ghostwrite information for you to use as your own.

Let’s take a look at some of the details of each of those situations….

    (1) When all you have is interesting links to other sites, people eventually catch on to your strategy. Doing a little bit of this is great—and important. But, if it is all you do, then visitors eventually realize you don’t have anything to add. While you will get people to check out these other links, they will not take you seriously as an authority on your topic, and soon lose interest.

    (2) Keeping up with writing your own content and articles takes a tremendous amount of time, unless you have the ability to pound out professional-looking material in a timely manner. It’s probably more efficient for you to focus your attention on the other important tasks, like submitting articles to directories, optimizing your site, maybe getting an online shopping cart or setting up a live online chat link.

    (3) Hiring a writer to get content for your site is a practical and affordable strategy for getting content on your site. Someone that writes content professionally can often provide the web copy, articles, and posts that you need to keep your site fresh and unique. You can hire a writer to contribute to your site, or you can just get someone to ghostwrite your content and articles and you can claim them as your own.

Most would argue that the third option is best, if you can find a writer that is skilled and within your budget. Unless you are a very good writer yourself, it is a time consuming task. And, unless you are a very good writer, you run the risk of including grammatical errors, typos, and misspellings that can make your site look very unprofessional. Outsourcing your writing tasks frees up your time so that you can concentrate on the many other tasks that you want to take care of yourself—to make sure they are done correctly.

Hire a writer that can handle all of your web content needs. By outsourcing this work, you will have plenty of time to spend to get your website as professional and successful as possible.
